Roar V. Bovim
Roar holds a PhD in organizational behavior and is a part-time lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. For more than a decade, he has been researching and consulting major companies like Equinor, Kongsberg Automotive, Gjensidige, and Copenhagen University.
In August 2017, he co-founded Livingroom Analytics. The idea for the Livingroom platform was sparked in conversation with 35+ HR managers in Denmark's largest companies. Despite decades of effort and new digital HR tools, employee performance and engagement remain challenges to organizations. In fact, HR performance tools seem to be part of the problem. Roar saw the need for a more employee-friendly and in-depth platform, moving from a focus on individual performance towards performance drivers such as workplace design, team dynamics, and collaboration.
Roar’s passion for people and workplace community has been central in the development of the Livingroom Analytics platform. The cloud platform combines HR data with anonymous employee surveys. Using innovative dynamic questions, the Livingroom algorithm can identify more than 1100 performance drivers – without bothering employees with too many questions.
Roar and his team have already received some attention. Livingroom Analytics was recently shortlisted as "Top 10 HR Tech Solution Providers in Europe 2018” by HR Tech Outlook, a magazine that monitors the emerging trends in the HR technology.
